It is defined as the process of destroying pathogenic microorganisms through physical and chemical processes. Its objectives are to prevent the spread of infections and protect water supplies for use in industry or for discharge. In Grupo Tecnológica Mediterráneo we offer several effective disinfection systems in industrial applications.

Disinfection with Sodium Hypochlorite (Chlorination)

Chlorine disinfection remains the most common form of wastewater disinfection due to its low cost history and long-term effectiveness. They are dosing equipment and chlorine dosing pumps that are installed at the end of the purification process.

Ozonation

Ozone is very useful for the purification of industrial effluents from various industries. The use of ozone in the oxidation of these waters increases their biodegradability as well as decreases the concentration of total organic carbon in them. Ozone has many properties: microbicide, bactericide, viricide, fungicide, sporicide, deodorant, oxygenator … Just as chlorination systems are located at the end of the purification process.

Filters Silex Anthracite Carbon ACT

Winding filters are GRP tanks intended to work at high internal pressures, performing filtering functions. In order for the tanks to withstand the test and work pressures, a fiberglass winding is applied both by the cylinder and by the covers to give it the required resistance.

The design of the filters (calculations and materials) is based on the standards AD-Merkblatt-N1 and BS-4994. They are also manufactured according to the European Directive for pressure tanks 97/23 / CE.

The choice of the filter bed will be based on the treatment that the water needs, as well as the incorporation of a self-cleaning filter system.

The available diameters are: 1400, 1600, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2350, 2500 y 3000 mm.

Working pressures: 2’5, 4 and 6 kg / cm2, the test pressure being 1.5 times higher than the working pressure.

Filtration speeds: 20, 30, 40 and 50 m3 / h / m2.
